The Back Story:
Gene Bik
out of Amsterdam NY gets ready to hit the Moody Mile in his pristine and
powerful Capital Speed #728. The 23
year old Bik, who at the time was employed at Amsterdam
Medical Hospital in the maintenance dept., was a Fonda transplant, and he made the move
to Howie’s playground payoff on May 10th
1986 when he scored the much deserved first win of his short career.
